Everything APB360 does, and when it shipped

One system for duty-issued equipment, the people who carry it, the training that qualifies them and — for manufacturers — the A&D bound book ATF examines. Recent releases are live for existing customers at no additional cost.

Training-to-equipment alarms

We pioneered combining inventory and training records in one system, because the question that matters is not only “what does this officer have?” but “are they qualified to carry it?”

  • Every issued asset is checked against your training requirements
  • Custom department issuance management: your policies, not a generic template
  • The issued employee and their supervisor are notified automatically
  • Expiration alerts months before any item reaches end-of-life

Live inventory ledger

When someone receives a delivery, issues ammunition or records a range day, every screen showing that item updates on its own — counts, charts and tables — and the change is written into a permanent history that says who made it, why, and where the units came from and went.

  • Movements, not overwrites — count before and after, reason, note and person; transfers record both sides
  • Quantity over time — units on hand for any date range, split by location and employee
  • Adjust Inventory panel — add, remove or set a physical count with a preview, a reason and optional certification
  • Nobody’s work is overwritten — if someone else changes the count while your panel is open, your change applies to the new number
  • Reports built for large inventories — server-side paging, sorting and search across every record

The 360° employee profile

Where supervisors and armorers spend much of their day, rebuilt around the work people actually do on it.

  • Return many assets in one step — tick assets (selections persist across searches and pages), choose a location, review the serials, confirm
  • A clearer asset table — serial in its own column; Modify, Trace, Flag and Return on every row; status in one column
  • Inventory history that shows what changed — every issue, return, consumption, transfer and count, newest first, serialized and non-serialized together
  • One click to the full story — each serial opens its transaction trace, each item its asset report

Flags: follow-up that cannot quietly disappear

A flag stays until someone clears it on purpose, and cleared flags are kept as history. Every open flag — on people, records and assets — is listed on Manage Inventory Alerts.

Employee flags

A free-form note — an overdue body armor fitting, paperwork to collect, a conversation to have — shown in red at the top of the profile until cleared, with how it was resolved.

Record flags

Flag any line of an employee’s inventory history. The note stays with the record it is about: the date, the change, the serial or item and the quantity.

Return flags

For serialized assets and for counted items like ammunition and OC spray: a due date and a note per officer’s units, overdue in red, exportable to Excel, CSV or PDF, and logged on the item.

Vendor management, purchases & asset files

Non-serialized items carry their own purchase history, vendors and documents. What you paid, who you paid, and the paperwork to prove it.

  • One vendor list shared by purchases, tracking details, RMA and repair tickets and ISO inspections, with duplicates caught
  • Record purchase: unit cost to four decimal places, vendor, date, invoice and PO, saved with the inventory movement
  • Purchase markers on the Quantity Over Time chart
  • Tracking details: warranty end date, funding source or account, internal ID or asset tag, with change history

Asset files

  • PDF, photos including iPhone HEIC, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text, RTF, ZIP, MP4 and MOV
  • A file whose contents do not match its extension is refused
  • Private storage, opened through short-lived links, never public URLs
  • Confirmed removal, and an administrator can recover a removed file
  • Read-only accounts can view and download, not add or remove

Qualifications & training

Electronic firearm qualifications at the range, analytics by course, and a threshold report that scores each person on their most recent attempt so an older passing score cannot hide a newer failing one.

Training & qualifications for agencies

  • Unlimited ranges and courses of fire; pass/fail, scored or custom score modes
  • Automatic ammunition depletion and encrypted target photos
  • Multi-instructor qualifications and instructor activity reports
  • Qualification Analytics Review with per-course charts and date ranges
  • Training categories, budgets, gap reports and certification expirations

Reconciliation & custody

A structured way to walk through inventory and confirm, asset by asset, that what the system says matches what is physically in hand — plus chain of custody with electronic signatures, inspections, repair tickets and self-certification with photos.

  • Recon logic tied to range and qualification events
  • RECON rendering mode on the Global Inventory Report
  • Token-based secondary reconciliation for shared verification
  • “Last recon” and audit date columns across reports
  • Mini Bar alerts for flagged assets, limbo status and overdue certifications

Login Audit Report

Every sign-in and sign-out is recorded as its own permanent entry — the account, the date and time in your organization’s local time, the network address and the device. Entries are written once and never rewritten.

Who was signed in when that disposition was recorded? Did a departing employee’s account go quiet when their access was removed? Easy questions with a dated trail.

  • Filter by user and date range
  • Sortable and searchable, newest first
  • Export to copy, CSV, Excel, PDF or print
  • Restricted to master-level administrators by design
Released October 15, 2026

Mobile, field tools & the asset API

Inventory happens where the equipment is, not on a clipboard typed up later. The free iOS companion app supports scanning, eSOP checklists, GPS and OCR / object recognition; the documented mobile asset API covers the full field workflow.

  • Tags with a life cycle: Minted, Pending Print, Printed, Re-Printed
  • Cases that hold real things, with short case codes designed to be read over a radio
  • Device location captured with each scan; implausible readings discarded
  • Your organization’s firearm catalog for cascading dropdowns

For developers

The APB360 API publishes inventory movements in real time: subscribe to your organization’s inventory topic to receive each change as it is committed. Request and response samples are published in the APB360 developer portal.

How we respond: the PHP advisory

When the NSA, FBI and CISA issued an urgent PHP advisory on October 21, 2026, every APB360 system that runs PHP was on the fixed release by the next evening. The portal, the API and the mobile apps were updated with no downtime, and older servers that could not take the fix were rebuilt on the updated platform and switched off.

Deployment, data & onboarding

Cloud or on-premises

Cloud is standard; agencies with data-sovereignty or CJIS constraints can run APB360 on their own hardware. Same feature set either way.

Your data stays yours

Download a full export at any time, with no lock-in. Single Sign-On (e.g. Microsoft Azure) and automated daily roster processing are available.

Onboarding included

Initial data import and user training in the first year at no extra charge; annual refreshers and new-hire training as webinars for the life of the account.
