Flag Non-Serialized Assets for Return, Right on the Employee Profile

Ammunition, OC spray, batteries, body armor and every other item you count rather than serialize can now be flagged for return, exactly the way serialized firearms can. Set a due date and a note on the units an officer is holding, and APB360 keeps that reminder in front of supervisors until someone clears it.

How It Works

  • Flag Asset on every row. In the 360° employee profile, each non-serialized item the employee holds now has a Flag Asset control. Pick the date and time the units are due back, add a note (“return the spare magazines before the transfer”), and submit.
  • Impossible to miss. A flagged item shows a red banner on the employee’s profile with the due date and the note, and the profile search finds it by either.
  • One list for supervisors. The Manage Inventory Alerts page has a new Non-Serialized Assets Flagged For Return table, next to the serialized one: the item and lot, how many units the employee still holds, the due date, the employee and the note, with a one-click link to their 360° report. Overdue items stand out in red, and the table exports to Excel, CSV or PDF.
  • Cleared on purpose, not by accident. A flag stays until someone clears it, from the profile or the alerts page, just like serialized flags. If the units come back first, the alerts list shows Returned (0 held) so the person who set the flag can confirm and close it.

Per Person, Not Per Box

A case of ammunition or a lot of batteries is often split among many officers and several storage locations. A flag in APB360 belongs to one employee’s units of that item, so asking one officer to bring theirs back never flags everyone else who drew from the same lot. Their assignment date is untouched.

On the Record

Setting and clearing a flag are both written to the item’s Inventory Log, with who did it, when, which employee it was for, the due date and the note, alongside the item’s counts and purchase history.
