Police armory & ammunition inventory software
Every firearm on a named officer, every round of ammunition on a live ledger, and the purchase records behind them — recorded the moment anything changes, by anyone, on any device.
The armory questions that should take seconds
Who has this weapon? How much duty ammunition is at each location right now? What did we pay for the last case, and where is the invoice? APB360 answers each one from a single record.
The usual armory
- A count in a spreadsheet that nobody trusts after range day
- Thirty separate forms to check in a departing officer’s gear
- Invoices in a filing cabinet, packing slips in someone’s inbox
- A lot split among many officers, with no idea who holds what
The APB360 armory
- Every count change recorded as a movement with a reason and a person
- Select every asset on the profile, choose a location, return in one step
- Purchase history, vendor and documents stored on the item
- Return flags that belong to one officer’s units, not the whole lot
A live ledger for ammunition and supplies
Inventory in APB360 is live. When someone receives a delivery, issues ammunition to an officer or records a range day, every screen showing that item updates on its own, and the change is written into a permanent history.
- A history you can trust — the item, each location or person it touched, the count before and after, the reason and who made it
- Transfers with both sides — minus ten at the armory, plus ten with the officer, in one entry
- Reasons, not guesses — procured, issued, returned, consumed, used in qualification, physical count, lost or stolen, destroyed and more
- Negative counts shown, not hidden — when range consumption runs ahead of stock, a supervisor sees it
- Quantity over time — a graph of units on hand for any date range, split by location and employee
Check in a departing officer’s gear in a few clicks
Every serialized asset on the 360° employee profile has a checkbox. Choose a stocking location, press Return Selected, review the serial numbers, and confirm. Returning thirty weapons, radios or TASERs used to mean thirty separate forms; now it is one.
- Selections stay selected across searches and pages
- Review exactly which serial numbers go where before anything changes
- Assets come back into the A&D book together, with each location updated
- Inventory history shows every change, serialized and non-serialized, newest first
Return flags that stay until cleared
Flag the ammunition, OC spray or gear an officer holds with a due date and a note. It shows as a red banner on the profile, appears on Manage Inventory Alerts with overdue items in red, and stays until someone clears it on purpose. A flag belongs to one officer’s units, so asking one person to bring theirs back never flags everyone who drew from the same lot.
What you paid, who you paid, and the paperwork to prove it
Ammunition, OC spray, Narcan, batteries, body armor — anything you count rather than serialize can record what each delivery cost and who supplied it.
One vendor list
Purchases, item tracking details, RMA and repair tickets and ISO inspection records all choose from the same names, and duplicates with different capitalization or spacing are caught.
Record every purchase
Enter the total paid and APB360 works out unit cost to four decimal places, with vendor, date, invoice and PO numbers — saved together with the inventory movement that adds the units.
Asset files on the item
Invoices, packing slips, safety data sheets, certificates of conformance, warranty papers, photos and video — in private storage, opened through short-lived links.
Reconciliation and chain of custody
The Reconciliation module gives armorers and compliance officers a structured way to walk through inventory and confirm, asset by asset, that what the system says matches what is physically in hand.
- Recon logic tied to range and qualification events
- “Last recon” and audit date columns across inventory and location reports
- Assignment to officers with electronic signatures
- Inspection history and repair tickets linked to each asset
- Self-certification with photo evidence between formal audits
Built for large inventories
Inventory reporting, the 360° employee profile, item pages, the A&D transaction trace and the inventory expiration report page, sort and search on the server. Agencies with thousands of items get the first page instantly, and every report works on a phone.
Armory FAQ
Does APB360 track non-serialized items like ammunition?
Yes. Ammunition, OC spray, batteries and other counted items are tracked on a live inventory ledger by location and by employee. Every change is recorded as a movement with the count before and after, the reason, a note and the person who made it.
Can ammunition be depleted automatically during qualifications?
Yes. Ammunition used at the range is depleted from inventory as qualifications are recorded, and appears in the ledger as used in qualification.
How do we return many assets when an officer leaves?
On the 360° employee profile, tick each asset (or select all), choose a stocking location and press Return Selected. You review the serial numbers before confirming, and the assets come back into the A&D book together in one check-in.
Can we store invoices and safety data sheets with the item?
Yes. Each non-serialized item has an Asset Files section for documents including PDF, photos (including iPhone HEIC), Office files, CSV, ZIP and video. Files sit in your organization’s private storage, open through short-lived links, and read-only accounts can view but not add or remove them.
What does this cost?
Armory and inventory features are part of the law enforcement Enterprise subscription at $95 per employee per year, with unlimited assets and storage. Releases like the live ledger and vendor management were added for existing customers at no additional cost.
